Hi PAB,
The first thing that your data prove to me is that the position of the numbers in space is very important in terms of your odds of winning or your chances of winning. Let us take an example and use number 2 from your date. Number 2 in position one has 1,533,939 combinations but number 2 in position two has 178365. Although there are more combinations of number 2 in position 1, your chances of winning decreases dramatgically because there are just too many combinations. But with number 2 in position two, you have a better chance of winning because there are less or lower combination and the jackpot is suddenly reachable. I must say that you have done some fantastic work here, well done. Of course, when you look at each individual numbers, their total will be 1,712,304 and there is no advantage to knowing that but the advantage is imposing certain limitation on the numbers by not allowing them to have a free movement across the numbers. For example, look at the position of the number within just 1 and 2 using the same idea from above. 1and 2 breakdown as shown below
Number 1 in position one has 178365 and number 2 in position 2 has 178365. Now let us look at number 3,4,5,6 etc down column three or position three if you like and the numbers are as shown below:
3 15,180
4 14190
5 13244
6 12341
7 11480
8 10660
9 9880
10 9139
11 8436
12 7770
13 7140
14 6545
15 5984
16 5456
17 4960
18 4495
19 4060
20 3654
21 3276
22 2925
Number 23 all the way to number 48 in column three or position three continues to decrease all the way down and that is a very powerful thing to know.

Re: 17,850 6/49 Draws
Hi CMF,
I currently have a database of 42,000 and I need more combinations. Also in order to prove that my theory of choosing lottery numbers works very well, I am going to predict certain combinations of numbers coming out in the 649 Lottery and we can all see how good the theory is. My theory is not based on odd or even numbers, it is not based on the wheeling system, it is based on understanding how the numbers are arranged in nature and using the same arrangement to select my numbers. My theory has a draw back and that is you will have to be a very patient person to see its effect in action. You just wait for me to finish working on the 649 Lottery results as I am still analysing it at the moment.

How about posting some the the strategies" and knowhow that you'ved been saying and also the tips for the next draw instead of just replying to our comments.
It just makes this whole thread longer and longer without you telling us really nothing of what you said you have learned and understood off of Lotto and that you would tell us.
Now how about it?

Hi Lottobug,
It is impossible to have any strategy that will predict the next six number combinations in the next draw. I don't care who says it and whether they are scientist or not, it can never, ever be done. The reason is quite simple, if you have a method for predicting the next draw, you will never share it with anyone. If that is what you are expecting, I do not and cannot do that. What I can do is set up a combination of six numbers that I expect to come out within the next six months to a year. With my system, you have to go through pain in order to have a chance of getting five and the bonus number and /or the jackpot. I have learned a lot and what I have learned is quite simply this, you cannot discard the way those numbers are arranged in nature. All you have to do is to learn how they are arranged in nature and use that understanding to select your numbers. With my system, no pain, no gain.

Hi PAB,
Yes, I have this data and they are in total agreement with my data but what does this data tells you about number selection. What conclusion can you actually draw from them in terms of how to win five plus the bonus number or the jackpot. Why do you not include the bonus number when analysing this data. This data are very useful to me but since you are not making any comment about them, I just wondered whether you have any comment to make.

This Thread is Getting More and More Interesting.
One of the Reasons I Posted the Data is so that Other Members of this Forum can See for themselves what is Being Discussed. I Personally Find it a Lot Easier to have Physical Data in Front of me Rather than have an Image in my Head.
I have a Program that I Use for Testing Filters to Reduce the Number of Combinations. I Use Data in Regard to Positional Distribution from the UK Table I Posted, this Way I can Set the Minimum AND Maximum Values for EACH Position of a Combination.
At the End of the Day though, you can Set Endless Amounts of Filters to Reduce the Total Number of Combinations to a More Manageable Size, But with Every Filter comes the Chance that you Disregard the Big One.
For Example, the Positional UK Minimum AND Maximum Values as at Draw Number 971 > Draw Date - Wednesday 13/04/2005 are as Follows :-
Position Minimum Maximum
Number Number Number
1 1 30
2 2 38
3 3 43
4 5 47
5 12 48
6 16 49
The Positional Canadian Minimum AND Maximum Values as at Draw Number 2,215 > Draw Date - Wednesday 13/04/2005 are as Follows :-
Position Minimum Maximum
Number Number Number
1 1 38
2 2 43
3 3 44
4 4 47
5 11 48
6 13 49
Considering the Difference in the Total Number of Draws Between the UK & Canadian Lotto, this Analysis is NOT Surprising.
All the Best.

Range analysis by position
PAB
I have a similar spreadsheet calculating the range for numbers in each position. As I expected, my data matches yours perfectly, but I added an option to specify a certain percentage (let’s say 75%) and the macro calculates between which numbers 75% of the numbers drawn will be between. My output is somewhat like this:
Position #1: 100.0% between 01 and 38 and 75.5% between 1 and 10
Position #2: 100.0% between 02 and 43 and 77.4% between 04 and 21
Position #3: 100.0% between 03 and 44 and 76.0% between 12 and 31
Position #4: 100.0% between 04 and 47 and 77.2% between 20 and 39
Position #5: 100.0% between 11 and 48 and 75.8% between 31 and 46
Position #6: 100.0% between 13 and 49 and 79.2% between 40 and 49
As an example, for position #5, this indicates that up to now (2215 draws), all values (100.0%) of the numbers are between 11 and 48 and that in 75.8% of the draws (or 1679), the numbers are between 31 and 46.
I am not sure but with a limited amount of draws and a rather odd distribution of numbers in a given position, the values may slightly be off by 1 or 2 but for Lotto 6/49, I am quite confident in the data it provides.

PAB,
I do not know how to delete the e-mail address, can you please delete it for me as I was unaware of the rules. I did think that it may be a little bit risky. If you want members to contact you without using the furum, How are they suppose to do it then?

Re: Range analysis by position
Hi GillesD,
According to my understanding numbers between 1 and 10 should come out more often in position 1 and numbers between 40 to 49 should come out in position 6. It seems to me that there is still not enough data because the results shows that the system is still not behaving perfectly in accordance with its theoretical values in space. Can you please use your spread sheet to find out how often numbers 1 to 10 occur in position 1 and how often number 40 to 49 occur in position 6. If you can post the results in your reply, I will be most grateful. By the way, some very good work has been produced by you, well done and keep it up because I love seeing raw data to back up observation.
