Cool When Betting on the Lottery...

Howdy folks and a wonderful evening to you.

My tip for this segment of learning to play any game is short and sweet or bitter sweet!
Professional and newbies alike do this on occasion and tonight, I pulled a basic boner of my own...
*Never be in a hurry to make a bet moneywise just a few minutes before "the gate is open!*
More stupid mistakes are made for the reason mentioned and 9/10ths of them cause heart attacks, fainting spells, brown spots in your drawers and brain farts! I can't tell you the number of times that I have gone off half-cocked and I know better! Yet, it still happens to the best of us!
For a description of my 'indisgression' please go to the Ohio Pick 3 forum for Tuesday Evening 8/31...

hiya teufellj, it is all part of the game...likewise I've been in a rush, forgot to select my betting options, and defaulted to straights doh!

other times I forgot the picks I scribbled down...so I just guessed what I could remember...I've since started hording playslips here at home by my computer, so I can carefully fill 'em in...sometimes even the day before I really wish California lottery would allow online play!

Folks, you and I make some pretty nifty mistakes in life but few can cause you a lot of money like any betting game. Take the time to check your numbers, check your bet slips and finally, concentrate on one thing at a time especially when it boils down to using your money! You can do as many of us have in one form or an other---smile and nod---take a deep breath then find your error and why(?) or get by yourself and pitch a hissyfit for exactly five minutes...!

Oh no, I did a 'Teufellj' yesterday.

My wheel gave me the combination 7-15-30-33-34-45 for last night's 6/49 draw. Whoo Hoo! $51.60 in winnings.

But then I noticed that when I filled in the playslip I marked the '6' instead of the '7' --that mistake cost me $41.60.

Take your time to check before you buy the tickets --a couple of minutes of my time would have been worth $20.80 per minute.

What can I say that's not already in print?
Best to put your personal comments to yourself in cyrilic (Russian)...not too many folks speak that language in Canada or in Texas! AHEM...

Oh, I'm cool with it. Believe it or not, this is not the first time that I've made a mistake.

Oh, I figured this out before my commentation. If a person didn't make mistakes or screwups...that person wouldn't be human...you are not something other than human ...are you? Hahahahaha! Adults on the other hand admit their errors and keep on trucking. It's no skin off of your nose if I blunder nor is it for me what you do. The real test comes from being aware that a problem has happened to us and in lottery or in anything else in life...what did we learn? Was it minute or monumental? Also in lottery, catching errors then finding a way(s) to correct or change a practice can exponentially enhance your money gains or get worse. This is how and where experience pays off. It's been said ..."you never look back on a problem or situation, burn your bridges, etc, etc." Bull! Try being a caboose and a second train is on the same track as you are running right behind you. Always, try to know what's going on! This gives you some room to tweek the arrangement!
Enough rattling---you know what happened; you felt stupid; we all had a good laugh because we have done the same thing in different circumstances!
Have a Great week, Icewynd...
