But I have no idea how Bushhappy predicts more than 6 numbers to eliminate ie 10, 27, 35 numbers.

Hi Flexalong,
May be this article by Bushappy can help.

Dylan and Bloubul,
The method is extremely time consuming and I use Excel to assist me. In order to understand it, you will have to read all my posts. It will be easier if you had access to my Excel file. I am not a programmer. Hopefully WinHunter (Andrew) can automate the method for me. I am going to use the method to select the numbers for the next set of 10 Draws for my Syndicate.
I will try and explain a part (only Draws 20 Category) of it here.
The SA Lotto History up to Draw 399 was examined and at each draw the number of appearances of each number over the previous 20 Draws was determined.
The results are :
9 in 20 Draws occurred 2 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 190.00
8 in 20 Draws occurred 11 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 34.55
7 in 20 Draws occurred 44 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 8.64
6 in 20 Draws occurred 123 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 3.09
5 in 20 Draws occurred 271 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 1.40
4 in 20 Draws occurred 485 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 0.78
3 in 20 Draws occurred 644 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 0.59
2 in 20 Draws occurred 497 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 0.76
1 in 20 Draws occurred 203 times in 380 Draws. ie 1 in 1.87
You will notice that an occurrence of 9 in 20 Draws only occurred 2 times in 380 Draws ie this is very rare.
We will now say it is reasonably safe to say that an occurence of 7 or greater is unlikely to occur and bet on this.
For the Prediction for Draw 406, each of the 49 Draws were tested to see what the occurrence would become if it had appeared at 406. Here are the results:

It does not look so nice, but anyway the 1st column is the Number and the second column is the Occurrence of Number in 20 Draws if it appears at Draw 406
For the 20 Draws Catergory, 4 levels of prediction were set up:
Level 1 - Criteria for non-appearance predictions is Occurrences >= 7 in 20 Draws. Thus it was predicted that the 2 numbers 7 & 15 will not appear. All predictions were correct.
Level 2 - Criteria for non-appearance predictions is Occurrences >= 6 in 20 Draws. Thus it was predicted that the 3 numbers 7, 9 & 15 will not appear.All predictions were correct.
Level 3 - Criteria for non-appearance predictions is Occurrences >= 5 in 20 Draws. Thus it was predicted that the 9 numbers 7 9 11 14 15 27 38 42 46 will not appear. All predictions were correct.
Level 4 - Criteria for non-appearance predictions is Occurrences >= 4 in 20 Draws. Thus it was predicted that the 22 numbers 3 5 7 9 11 14 15 20 21 24 27 29 30 32 35 38 40 42 43 45 46 47 will not appear. There were 2 incorrect predictions ie numbers 24 and 47.
Using Level 4 and Draws 20 Category only the numbers hit would be 4 out of 49 - 22 = 27
The above description is for Draws 20 Category 20 only. The above process is repeated for Draws 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 17, 35, 50, 75 and 100 categories.
With automation, more categories could be added and the prediction criteria could be fine tuned to achieve better results.
Cheers,
Vic
