Hi joesam,

The comparison you did was against the wheeling system. Here is the comparison against the purging system.

Hi BP,
There is still a lot that need to be done, and generating the complete set of combinations will be one of them. At this stage the main reason why it has not been done, is because I'll most probably have to use a file to store large combinations namely for keno or when more than about 20 balls are selected for the lotto.

Only be using the system, can I get feedback from all of us, what needs to take place still.

Hi Spingbok,
You'll see that you can adjust your profile of the forum, to specify your time-zone.
WinnaLotto has definitely progressed to the level now where 3 or 4 balls are being selected. It's not perfect, yet as we still have to get the other 2 elusive balls

Regards
Patrick

A new morning, a new day, new hope Looking at the 4 hits of three numbers in your 26 combinations is thrashing randomness. The theoretical result would be one three number hit in around 50 combinations. So well done. Progress is being made. There is nothing to beat the sense of progress towards a goal especially in the supposedly "random" world of the 6/49 lottery.

The time of this post is correct. It reflects British Summer Time(BST) which is GMT +1

Hi Springbok

I would like to have you as part of our "SUNGOMA" syndicate, as your input cannot be ignored. Please think about it.

Dumela Springbok,

Looking at the selection further, the Fullhouse6 Filter selected 3 balls, furthermore, the Spingbok 2 Filter selected 3 balls as well, 5 plus bonus in only 13 numbers!!!

There must be some sort of corruption then. I check for versioning with this code:
Quote:
if not ((s[idx] = 'Filters 1.0') or
(s[idx] = 'Filters 1.1') or
(s[idx] = 'Filters 1.2') ) then begin
ShowMessage('Invalid Filter File');
Exit;
end;

If you open the file with notepad, the first few lines should reflect:

Quote:

Worst case, just extract them again from the zip file included with WinnaLotto.

Have you looked at the last three skip cycles adding up and less than the pair's median?

Bloubul, thanks but I am not into syndicates as when I win I want it ALL I would play the UK 6/49 as you win serious money and it is hard currency. Although seeing how strong the Euro is I should be playing some of the lotteries in the euro zone of the European Union countries But I am more than happy to purge any number pools suggested with Bright6. I need to know if it will be the 6/49 game or the 7/49 game with the bonus number. Give a number pool of 24 numbers. Give a number of different pools and each pool must have a name like POOL A, POOL B etc. I will need 24 hours notice. If a pool looks interesting ie it survives purging I will reduce it to between 5 and 20 combinations. Any pool of 24 numbers is going have to be good to survive the del6 filter and I mean very good.
I will need a few days to do some testing with the purge facilities of Bright6 as it is fairly new to me and to build up data files using the bonus ball of the SA lottery. The actual purging could involve millions of combinations in different data files.

Bonjour Springbok,

I'll have a look at that now, most probably build a column filter for it.

I want your input as you can get numbers from WinnaLotto that no other person can get for the South African lotto how???? beats me. You can still play your normal games.

So please help us as far as you can.

Last 5 SA draws, pairs shows a hit percentage ranging from 23 to 38% - 26% is standard so it is selecting slightly better.

"Looking at the selection further, the Fullhouse6 Filter selected 3 balls, furthermore, the Spingbok 2 Filter selected 3 balls as well, 5 plus bonus in only 13 numbers!!! "

That is exceptionally good, even brilliant. A full wheel of 13 numbers gives 6864 combinations and Bright6 could massacre those combinations leaving only a few good survivors and the winning combo should be there. WOW! this is heady stuff, like drinking rocket fuel

Sometimes I think I am crazy indulging in lotteries and I should spend time doing something more worth while like climbing mountains in the Swiss Alps or drinking beer in a pub and watch the world go by. But the feedback from these activities drives me on. It is like chasing the Golden Fleece, sometimes you catch a sight of her knickers.........

Mangwánaní Bloubul,

The Filter file looks fine. Either there is a problem with your drawings file or some other bug. Could you give me the exact error message that gets displayed.

Patrick

Mmoro Springbok,
I modified column 35 of the filter to:
Quote:
#34 <= #1
and
#12 >= 40

It gives about 3 or 4 rows now for pairs, but the hit has gone to about 50 to 100%

Regards
Patrick
