Not a problem Morocco -- and, actually, just "Scott" is sufficient... the K. thing goes back to my military days. It just "notes" that I go by my middle name. (which confuses the hell out of every computer program ever written)

Well... first things first... I've got to go back and study the old manuals and explore the program in detail to remind myself of all the things I was doing and where I was in the process.

Which will lead to the second step... Identifying all of the things that didn't work, were missing or were incomplete.

If anyone wants to chime in with a list of things they noted about the old program or even just features they would like to see in any program, go for it. I'll make notes and see what I can do.

It's gonna be fun ~smile~

Unfortunately Turtle0747 --

Unless someone has a crack for it, no. I had to surrender the source code and the code generators for it when I sold the rights, so even I can't get a working copy without mooching ~smile~ The only way I know of that you could even begin would be to do a binary edit on the data file and overwrite the old data with new. But that could get pretty messy pretty fast.

Wow!

I am stunned. Someone is still using that program this many years later? I can't believe it still even runs with all the changes in Windows that have occured over the years. Damn. ~smile~

And, yes, I am starting on a new program... but it's going to take a long time to get it to a point where anyone else can use it. I'm having to start from scratch. It took me well over a year of development to get LottoMan to the point it was. It shouldn't take as long for LottoMan II, since I don't have as much learning curve, but it's going to take time.

And, for the moment, since I haven't the tools or the involvement I did before... the only advice I can offer for the Florida Lotto is to win it ~smile~ I'll see if I can work myself back to a place where I might be able to offer somewhat more sage advice ~grin~
